This two-volume limited and numbered edition is part of the series of Enciclopèdia Art publications dedicated to great Catalan artists of the 20th century, such as Dalí, Brossa and Tàpies. In this case, the protagonist is Joan Miró, one of the most universal and renowned artists. A great reader of poetry, Miró worked several times with the poets from his country, his culture and his language: J.V. Foix, Salvador Espriu, Joan Brossa, Salvat-Papasseit... Miró and the Catalan Poets brings together, for the first time, all these editions, many of which were published in such short print runs that they were virtually unnoticed. Led by Vicenç Altaió, one of the leading experts on Miró, the project has enjoyed the collaboration of the artist's heirs and the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona and the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Palma, offering a unique opportunity to discover the connection between painting and poetry in the artist's work.
