Delikat-Essen (Mariposa)

Béla Adler has the talent to capture the fluidity of movement with his camera. In this work, the photographer is inspired by the most emblematic metaphor of change, the metamorphosis of a butterfly. This image is part of a booklet included in an autobiographical book project called Delikat-Essen. The book is about the loss of identity after an accident-trauma and how we can digest, transform and heal this with the help of art. The butterfly resting on the woman's face is a symbol of rebirth and change.
