Delikat-Essen (Bosque)

Bèla Adler is talented at capturing the fluidity of movement with her camera. In this work, the photographer is inspired by the most emblematic metaphor of change, the metamorphosis of a butterfly. This image is part of an autobiographical book project, an appendix by Delikat-Essen. The book is about the loss of identity after an accident-trauma and how we can digest, transform and heal it with the help of art. The image of the forest represents the threshold we cross when we die.
